The following images are a bit of a Look/Feel “lookbook” so-to-speak, straight from my head, that have been manifested/percolating for YEARS, come to life through (yep!) – AI. Crazy, creepy, scary, thrilling, exciting!? Wow – a new creative partner?! I’m not sure, but right now I’m HAPPY!! The first several images are AI-generated images from my Bed Jump project that I wanted to “make real”, including the Amish, taco-truck workers, etc. These were some of my original ideas. Seeing them now come together so quickly is so cathartic and satisfying, I must admit!
We are all humans, born babies (yes, even Drumph), who turned into kids who jumped on beds, who all turned Amish, Madonna, Rockstars, NFL football players, suburban moms, taco-truck workers, immigrants, CEO’s, pole-dancers, hunters, buddhists: all sizes, all shapes, all colors…Humans who all long for HEALTH & HAPPINESS. We can all go back to the bed & within seconds see our differences fall to the wayside, & our shared human-ness come to life.
I have a few other series I am playing with involving Wrapping and Color. My concepts tend to be large-scale, involving a lot of people, time, energy, resource, & red tape! AI doesn’t get it “quite right” in every case, but to play with these concepts here in this medium has been thrilling. Juxtaposition, Color, & Play are my friends, & I use them to heighten the message of returning to these birthrights we all share. To RETURN, TO REIGNITE, TO REAWAKEN. To REMEMBER the life-force that runs through our bones, breath, & blood. I see you. You see me. A celebration.
